The town boasts a great variety of amenities, including shops, restaurants, pubs, bars and ice cream shops, as weill as access to the town of Ambleside where you'll find the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's Hill Top House. Other attractions in the area include the scenic Grizedale Forest, perfect for walkers and cyclists and the World of Beatrix Potter, which is sure to be appreciated by literary lovers.
