There are plenty of attractions in the area such as the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey, while walkers, cyclists and adventurers will enjoy an abundance of public paths and watersports at the magnificent Windermere Lake, the largest lake in England.
