The Boating Centre is a great place from which to hire boats, take boat trips on the famous Gondola (a Victorian steam yacht) and launches or just simply feed the ducks and enjoy an ice cream. Outside there is a sunny patio area, a great spot for al fresco dining and across the track from the property a lovely grassy paddock, ideal for family games. Beyond the courtyard, idyllic Coniston Water will tempt you through the grounds and down to the estate s private lake shore area which is shared with other properties on the estate this is the place for picnics, paddling and fishing for tiddlers.
