Area North of the Lake District, Silloth is a famous tourist destination on the shores of the Solway Firth in West Cumbria. Opened in 1886, Carr's Biscuit Factory Flour Mill is a historic landmark in the city. For a time, Silloth was one of Scotland's most popular coastal resorts.
