Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair and travel cot available. Croft House Cottage is well-positioned to explore Cumbria and the national park.

Area
This charming linear village is located in the remote dales of Cumbria's Eden area. This tiny community is made up of a row of houses from the 18th century, as well as a swimming pool, bars, stores, a post office, and a beautiful memorial park. Shap Abbey, which is located half a mile from the village centre and is surrounded by a magnificent setting by the River Lowther, was last ruled by Henry VIII in 1540. The stunning Lake District National Park is close by, and the charming towns of Ambleside and Windermere are also accessible. You may find excellent shopping arcades, two castles, and several historical sites in the larger town of Kendal, which is 16 miles distant. A charming community, Shap promises to be a great base for seeing Cumbria and the attractions of the Lake District.
