The rest of the cottage is made up of a wet room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the front is off road parking for one car and front patio area with garden furniture. Set in a stunning situation, Knott Lodge is a great place to enjoy at any time of the year.

Area Sedbergh set at the foot of the dramatic and wild Howgill Fells, is an ancient market town in northern Dentdale. Sedbergh is situated just inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is only 12 miles from the Lake District National Park. The town, with its narrow streets, little shops, traditional pubs, has an olde worlde atmosphere. Leading from Sedbergh is Dentdale, the jewel of the Yorkshire Dales with its rolling hills and dry stone walls, stretching 14 miles from the windswept moors below Whernside to the confluence of the Rivers Dee and Rawthey

The property water supply is from a natural spring. Sorry we do not accept pets, this property is well catered to guest with pet allergies. No smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles, farm shop 15 miles. Note: The unit is disabled friendly with a ramp provided for access, extra width doors and disabled facilities for the wet room available. Note: There's no door between the living area and the bedroom. This property can be booked with Property ID 1097 and 1292 to make it 10 people as the properties are adjoining. There are lambs at the owners farm, as of April 2023, which you are welcome to interact with during your stay!

After finding this cottage last year we couldn’t wait to return. It didn’t disappoint. It was like coming home.
It is ideal for those with disabilities and those who are able bodied.
Lily and Alan are wonderful hosts and always concerned for your welfare, making sure you have everything you need.
The views are amazing and the air so fresh. It is peaceful and being away from any roads the only sounds are the sheep, the birds and the wind in the trees. We are already planning our next years visit.

This lovely cottage is set on a working farm with amazing views. It is fully equipped for people with physical disabilities and wheelchair accessible. Everything has been carefully thought out even down to underfloor or heating which is particularly useful in the bathroom as it dries the floor in no time which avoids slips. The cottage is open plan with amazing views from the lounge and from the large terrace.
The owners are so kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
This is the best holiday cottage we have found which caters for people with disabilities.
It is also a lovely peaceful place for able bodied.people too.
We will be back.

The accommodation had been carefully planned for anyone with limited mobility.. That said the aids were unobtrusive and it would also suit the fully able bodied.
The owners were very welcoming and helpful.
We visited in the spring and it was a joy to see lambs in the fields

Lovely cosy cottage in immaculate condition! Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Situated on a working farm but was very quiet! Great location for Lakes and Dales, and also some lovely walks around the cottage over the Howgill Fells. Would love to go back!

Overall Knott lodge has all that is required for a pleasant stay, with only 15 minutes to the M6, good parking and a friendly helpful landlady, i think a second visit is on the books..
