There is so much to see and do in the local area, Aira Force waterfalls are well worth a visit as is the Rheged Centre with its exhibitions, pottery, soft play, family theatre, shops and cafes.

A short drive will also enable you to head into the Lakes for the day and take a trip on the Ullswater steamers. The Eden Valley is blissfully distracting from the hustle and bustle of day to day life.
