There is a wealth of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts such as scenic Ullswater Way, a twenty mile path that circumnavigates the entire lake which can be explored in its entirety or done in sections, maybe using the Ullswater Steamers for transport from one section to another. Aira Force waterfall is well worth a visit as is the Rheged Centre with its exhibitions, pottery, soft play, family theater, shops and cafes.
