Electric heating and electric immersion heater for hot water. Outside, there is a private patio, communal garden area and designated parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair and travel cot available. Sorry, no pets and no smoking allowed. Within 2.2 miles there is a shop and within 0.6 miles, a pub. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is from 10am. Rivers Edge makes a wonderful escape to the Lake District.

Between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge, the famed Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, operates. Visit the Lakeside Hotels for spectacular views of Windermere and the surrounding fells, or visit the Aquarium of the Lakes to learn about the history of the Lakes through organically designed habitats. Bowness-on-Windermere is a beautiful day trip, and the quaint village of Hawkshead still has the charm and character that endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter.
