Hesket Newmarket is a rural village in the northern corner of the Lake District National Park, boasting a village shop and a local Inn, whilst the neighbouring village of Caldbeck hosts a wider selection of amenities. There are lots of Lake District attractions nearby, from hikes up Skiddaw to visiting the lakes at Derwentwater, Ullswater and Bassenthwaite, whilst the fantastic town of Keswick and Solway coast lies further afield.
