Formerly a working brewery, this grade II listed building is set within its own grounds in the tiny hamlet of Kirksanton. Adjacent to the main tower, this wing of the property offers well-appointed accommodation including a contemporary first floor entrance hall with staircase down to a spacious sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen with views of the surrounding fells, a good-sized main bathroom and three bedrooms. Outside, the spacious lawned garden offers guests the chance to relax in the panoramic scenery. Close by, there are numerous walks and the activities and amenities of nearby towns are just a short drive away. Note: This property accepts a minimum stay of 3 nights only and can not accept bookings with an arrival or departure on a Sunday.

Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin with pull-out stacker bed, 1 x single with pull-out stacker bed. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room.

Situated on the West Coast of Cumbria and within the Lake District National Park is the small hamlet of Kirksanton. The village is composed of a scattering of cottages, farm dwellings and the traditional village pub, set in an enviable position amidst some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain. Situated close to local beaches, coastal walks and many of the nearby conservation areas, this lovely little hamlet is ideal for those looking to enjoy the great outdoors. The local skyline is dominated by the towering peaks of Scafell, Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell whilst the stunning valleys of Eskdale and Dunnerdale are close by and provide breathtaking scenery throughout the year. Other local attractions include Muncaster Castle, a World Owl centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway.

We have just returned home after spending a week at Tower Cottage and it has been superb.. The owners were on hand if needed and were extremely accomodating. The views are amazing and our kids loved watching the train at the end of the drive. The only downside was that the cottage would benefit from a tumble dryer, simply for the days when washing couldn't be dried outside. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely stay there again.

We had a great week at Tower Cottage.. It is spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable with lovely views. Everything you need is provided and milk is in the fridge with tea and coffee in the cupboard. The location is within easy reach of the coast and the lower lakes and even though it was out of season we found plenty of things to do. We recommend The King Billy Restaurant nearby, the food was really good and the chef is quite a character! If you are thinking of booking do not hesitate.

We had a lovely holiday at Tower Cottage, it is very spacious, yet cosy and very child friendly with lots of games to occupy them.. There is lots to do in the surrounding area too and Coniston isn't too far away. The owners are very friendly and helpful too. Fab holiday, we will definitely go back. Thank you.

The best family holiday.. My 3 years old daughter enjoyed so much, that she didnt want to go back home, the cottage was superb, lots of toys and games were there for any child age. We would like to come back there.

The owners were very friendly and helpful.. The welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits (and the offer of some fresh eggs) was a nice touch. The cottage was warm and well equipped - a real 'home from home'. The views of the Lakeland fells from the cottage window were stunning.

The cottage is split on two levels after entering you go downstairs to the living area, kitchen with exit to the patio which must be great in the warmer weather, another exit in the dining area .. On the landing there is another exit to a private garden. We were lucky with the winter weather the local beach was amazing and the steam train was enjoyable.

A great cottage in a nice quiet location but only a short drive in to the town of Millom.. Nice beaches on the doorstep and Scafell only 40 mins by car.

The owners had the right balance in our opinion - very friendly without being at all intrusive.. The property was spacious and very comfortable, especially the mattresses, and there was plenty to keep the children amused - toys, reading books and colouring books and pens.

The accommodation was excellent, everything we needed, down to the little things that really support a good holiday.. Very clean, beds really comfortable, wonderful views, very helpful and friendly owners. Fully recommend it. We were so fortunate with the weather. Silecroft Beach only 5 minutes, and is beautiful.

The location,cottage and overall holiday was brilliant.. We would recommend anyone to take a holiday to the cottage. The children were excited about the games that were on offer and loved the donkey. The owners were very friendly (but in the background) so that we could get on with anything we wished to do without feeling that we were being watched. Clean,well stocked with various items if we needed them even biscuits,milk,tea/coffee on arrival - very thoughtful. Thank you for our lovely stay.
