Skelwith Bridge is a small cluster of traditional Lake District cottages and hotels, set around an attractive stone bridge spanning the River Brathay.

Ambleside, Lake Windermere, Coniston, Coniston Water, Grasmere, Elterwater and the other main towns, villages and attractions of South Lakeland are all within a short drive. There are some excellent walks in the immediate area.
