The picturesque village of Grasmere, positioned in the centre of the Lake District National Park, is arguably best known as the home of William Wordsworth. The Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, where the Wilson family has been producing gingerbread for over 60 years, is a must-see on any trip to Grasmere.
