Other beauty spots include Whinlatter Forest, Ashness Bridge, Surprise View and of course the shores of Derwentwater offering a wide variety of activities including boat hire and cruises. For the less active there are numerous shops, pubs, restaurants, museums and parks and of course The Theatre by the Lake. There really is something here for everyone.

This is our seventh year of returning to the old hayloft and were delighted with the new colour scheme and the new bedroom furniture the new bed was particularly comfortable.. The cleaner needs to be congratulated on the pristine condition of the apartment. The only concern we had was the difficulty in opening the front door this is due to it rubbing on the door chill. It would benefit from a few shavings off the leading edge of the bottom of the door. We will be back next year.

Car park 5 min walk but ideal considering location room spotless bed comfortable pillows bit hard but no problem lounge very holmly kitchen cutlery etc very good apart from cooker needs new hob location 2 mins walk to centre Keswick ideal pub downstairs bit noisy at weekend but to be expected quite after that would I stay here again.. Yes

Location of ACCOMMODATION was fantastic.. Comfortable bed and brilliant black out blind in bedroom! Would definitely stay again and recommend :)

We had a great holiday despite the weather.. The location is great in the middle of Keswick town centre. There was a bit of noise from people outside the pub opposite, but not enough to annoy. The lack of a car parking adjacent to the property was a slight problem, but the allocated parking a few hundred yards away wasn't too bad. Access for loading and unloading was fine. All together a lovely holiday flat.

This is our fourth year of returning to the old hayloft we enjoy coming as it suits our needs.. Staff in the office helpful the car parking at the Methodist church is very good. The mattress is extremely hard and could do with a thicker topper than the one provided. There was a dripping tap in the kitchen sink.The live music from the pack horse pub on Fridays and Saturdays disturbs sleep until one a.m. in the morning.

Excellent location and value for money.. The only downside to this holiday home was the fact that the pub across the courtyard has live entertainment three nights a week. This can go on until well after midnight. When people left by the exit where the singer was playing it was so loud that it felt they were in the same room.
