Prepare to make an entrance at this grand Edwardian home. A tree-lined driveway winds through five acres of grounds to a secluded spot surrounded by mountains, where carefree days are spent dining alfresco or playing cricket, croquet or hide-and-seek. Inside, it’s surprisingly homely and perfectly equipped for large groups, with two kitchens and dining areas, multiple living spaces and cosy snugs, and ten characterful bedrooms. Hiking and cycling trails wind through the surrounding landscape, with lake activities close by, while the pubs and restaurants of Keswick are just a short stroll away.

*For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
*Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to accompany you during your stay but they must sleep in the downstairs utility area.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide two cots for free – just bring your own linen.
*While hen parties are welcome upon request, this home is not suitable for stag parties.
