This gorgeous cottage, within walking distance of Keswick s town centre, sleeps four guests. The property has a quiet setting and has some fabulous walks directly from its front door. Set out on foot to explore the wooded path that winds its way to the summit of Latrigg Fell, or if you really feel like challenging yourself, stride on further to discover the dizzy heights of Skiddaw. Alternatively, enjoy a gentle 1 mile stroll into Keswick, where you ll find a fantastic choice of eateries, plus a wonderful museum, art gallery and theatre. From Keswick, you can board one of the launches to glide across Derwentwater, where you can hop on and off for a picnic, waterfall walk or afternoon tea. The warm and inviting cottage features a spacious open plan lounge/diner, with beautiful exposed beams and a roaring wood burner. Enjoy cosy nights in together, watching TV or planning the next day s itinerary around the dining table. The modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare a tasty meal for your fellow guests, including an electric oven, separate induction hob, microwave, wine cooler, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The chic breakfast bar is the perfect place to sit with a morning coffee or socialise whilst the meal is being prepared. The delightful conservatory is filled with natural light and makes a lovely spot to enjoy brunch whilst admiring the distant view of the Lakeland fells. Also, on the ground floor you ll find a handy utility/drying room, with a washing machine/dryer, overhead airer, iron and sink. There s also a desk area next to the window, if you need to catch up on some emails during your stay. Upstairs, discover two tasteful bedrooms. The first is a king size, decorated in calming tones for a relaxing night s rest and featuring an elegant chaise lounge next to the window. The room has an en suite bathroom with a bath, shower and WC. The second bedroom is a super king size and is also decorated in neutral tones. On the first floor there s the family bathroom, with a WC and rainfall style shower. Heading outside, there s a private south facing patio with outdoor furniture, overlooking the gardens and with views of the fells in the distance the ideal place to unwind with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. Off road parking is available for one car.
