Within 0.2 miles you will find both a shop and a river and within 0.3 miles, a pub and please note that dogs are allowed but sorry, no smoking. The tourist hub of the northern Lake District is the well-known town of Keswick, which has a lot to offer travellers at any time of year. The town offers a wide variety of stores and eateries to suit every taste, as well as miniature golf, wonderful parks, the renowned Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing, and fantastic mountain biking opportunities. Derwentwater, a beautiful lake at the head of the breathtaking Borrowdale Valley, is only a short stroll from the town centre. The stunning Newlands Valley is nearby, situated between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and the charming Bassenthwaite Lake is definitely worth a visit. Everything from a leisurely stroll through the countryside to a strenuous walk up Skiddaw or the renowned Catbells is available. Visit the Jennings Brewery, Mirehouse, a magnificent home and gardens on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, or go on a wonderful boat tour of Derwentwater. Any time of year, this is a terrific Lakeland visit because to the abundance of family-friendly attractions, beautiful parks, and the neighbouring Lake District Wildlife Park.
