One well-behaved pet welcome, but sorry, no smoking at this property. You will find a shop and a pub within 0.1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Area
The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.

Absolutely fantastic stay here. It really is a home from home and what an amazing location. Couldn't fault it in any way. The host was super helpful and always happy to answer any questions we had. We will most definitely be returning!

Fabulous stay at Baystones, lovely apartment, more like a house on four levels with very spacious high ceiling rooms, huge main bathroom with big deep bath, very well equipped with everything we needed, every bedroom had ample wardrobe and draw space , great location to walk into Keswick town and lake

We had a lovely stay at Baystones back in May. Accommodation was excellent, well equipped and in a prime location for all the pubs, restaurant and amenities. Would definitely come back and was actually looking for availability for later in the year and saw the bad reviews and felt compelled to leave our experience as it was the complete opposite. Would recommend.

Great location for the centre of Keswick and surrounding walks. The house was very clean and well maintained throughout . The parking permit for the car parks was provided by the hosts which was very welcome but there was also off road parking, close to the property . Couldn’t fault it . Although there are some steps up to the property , so maybe the less mobile may have slight issues with this. Would def stay again .

Very poor service, horrible location, round the back of restaurants and smelt horrible. Was lots of mould through out the property. Half the doors were hanging on by an inch of their life.the beds were very uncomfy. The host was extremely threatening after the stay claiming for more money.

We stayed here in June for the Keswick beer festival. What a mistake. The hosts were uncommunicative, the house was filthy, mattresses were uncomfortable and I found bedbugs. Black mould throughout. I felt sick. DO NOT STAY HERE.
