Andra Ghyll is a first floor apartment with a cosy feel ideally located close to the centre of Keswick. The town is an ideal base from which to explore the delights of the Northern Lakes. The apartment sleeps three in two bedrooms: 1 x double and 1 x single, it has a family bathroom with shower over the bath, basin and WC. Comfortable lounge with dining area Outside there is private parking for 1 car. A lovely warm and welcoming apartment in a central location for couples and small families of all ages.

Area
Keswick is a year round destination with a wide variety of attractions on offer including, lake cruises on Derwentwater, live performances at the Theatre by the Lake, fine fell walking, lively street markets and an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. Hope Park is a relaxing and beautiful place to visit at any time of year it is only a five minute walk from the apartment, here you could enjoy a round of golf or keep the children entertained with a game of crazy golf. Also nearby you will find the River Greta and Fitz Park with tennis courts, pitch and put golf or just simply stroll along side the river. For the more energetic visit Whinlatter Forest Park which has a fantastic mountain biking trail and also hosts the tree top adventure Go Ape.

Region
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

We booked here last minute for a short stay over Easter. The flat is in an excellent location right in the centre of Keswick. It has a car parking space which is a definite bonus. The flat was very clean and tidy, tastefully decorated and had everything that you could need. I would stay again for a short break but wouldn’t stay for anything longer. The downsides are very low hot water pressure, so takes ages to fill a sink and a very disappointing shower. The main bedroom is next to the co op supermarket and is very noisy on a morning about 6.30amwhen getting delivery’s and moving trolleys. Overall very nice for a short stay in the heart of Keswick.

Well equipped secure flat in an excellent location. Centrally located within easy walking distance of Keswick's pedestrian town centre, supermarkets and the bus station. We used a weekly bus ticket to get around the area leaving the car in the free onsite parking for the week. Short walk to Derwent water for cruises, water sports and performances at the 'Theatre by the lake'. Flat comes with everything we needed, was nicely decorated and very comfortable and we will certainly be going back.

The flat is in a complex which gives a dedicated parking space, a real bonus in Keswick. Centrally located it is only a few minutes from the high street, the bus station and two supermarkets yet seems isolated from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. It is very tastefully decorated and feels fresh and modern with good quality bathroom and light fittings. There is WiFi and NOW TV for those nights when if you've had a long day walking you just want to chill out on the comfy settee.

Apartment is in a good location central to everything in Keswick and within walking distance to Derwent Water. There is free allocated parking and wifi access. Key collection and return was swift and efficient. We had a little problem with the key to the main entrance door during our stay in that it was the incorrect key, however the owner came out to the property within minutes and rectified this, providing the correct key. Comments and observations: The main bedroom is very close to the loading bay for the Co-op supermarket which is literally next door – so this is a little noisy early morning 6.30ish. Television – there are not a lot of TV channels – i.e. there are very few Freeview channels – we noticed a BT Youview remote beside the DVD player but sadly NO Youview box for said remote!!! There are no metal trays for the oven nor oven gloves. We used the oven quite a bit during our stay so these would have been useful. Unfortunately we had noisy inconsiderate neighbours to the side and above us during our stay – poor sound proofing. Apartment would benefit from a little updating. Otherwise a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Really fabulous location.. A stones throw from everything which Keswick has to offer, but in a quiet location, with the all important car parking. Cosy apartment with everything that you need, slightly dated decor/furniture/fittings, but clean with a more modern kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Well situated apartment close to all amenities with a reserved parking space and very comfortable beds.. Kitchen a bit small but has a full-sized fridge/freezer and washing machine which is welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Location is in center of Keswich, very convenient.. Shops and restaurant/pubs close by. Apartment was well appointed with everything needed. Also clean when arrived. Details of key pick up etc. by Sykes was right on. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Excellent location. 3 min walk to pubs, restaurants and shops. Well equipped and clean. Designated parking space too, which is good. Central for the northern lake district. Walking distance to Derwentwater.

Fantastic location about 100 metres from the centre of keswick; great access to all the pubs and restaurants. Also nice and quiet should you want to stay and eat especially within an updated kitchen and Booths and Co-op only metres away. Good sized living room and nice bedrooms. Have been coming for years and really enjoyed the stay.

In a great location in the centre of Keswick with it's own parking space. The flat was plenty big enough for two and had everything we needed for the week. Perfectly placed for loads of walking we did not need to move the car for the duration of our stay. Would recommend the weekly ticket for the launch on Derwent. So many walks to do from the different landing stages.

This apartment has a lot going for it. This is the 2nd year we have stayed at No. 7. It is very convevient for town and the bus station and the accommodation is ok. But the toilet seat is still loose as it was last year and the toilet is difficult to flush. The bathroom and kitchen need a thorough overhaul. If this was done I would stay here again

We stayed in first floor flat, it was very warm and comfortable. As it is situated just off the high street the only views were of the car park. The flat itself is adequately furnished if a little tired. The beds were extremely comfy!!! It is situated next door to Co Op supermarket which gets a noisy delivery at around 6 o'clock every morning!! The major advantage of this property is the location, at the lower end of Keswick high street, it is lovely to stroll out in the early evening when all the tourists have gone to enjoy a quiet meal or a drink in one of the many pubs. Keswick itself is a haven for dog owners, every establishment welcomes dogs and therefore there is a good variety of dogs wherever you go.

The flat was comfortable and clean, the rooms were a bit on the small side but we knew this as we have stayed in Hewetson Court before fine for two people, but the best bit is the location it could not be better. Would def stay again

We had a very enjoyable week and found the location perfect for our needs. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We attended the Ways with Words Festival, which is why we came to Keswick. The location of the apartment made things easy to get to the venue and the choice of different places to eat in Keswick was very good as well as lots of shops for anything else we needed. I would certainly recommend the apartment.

In a very convenient location. Don't need to take the car out! Shopping and walks on the doorstep. Was very nice to have the Christmas tree there as a festive welcome!
