North Lodge is a delightful single-storey lodge set on the owners' farm, in an isolated position six miles from Kendal. This lodge sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of a double with walk-in wardrobe and a twin, together with a bathroom. The lodge also has an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with gas stove. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and a decked area with furniture.Note: This properties changeover day is Saturday therefore bookings must start or finish on a Saturday. North Lodge is a great base for a couple or family with lots to see and do in the area.Please note: As of March next year the property will not longer have a bath but instead will have a walk in shower.

Area
Kendal is an historic Lakeland town set on the banks of the River Kent and is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. Its old cobbled lanes and byways branch off the attractive main street, and the stone ruins of 12th century Kendal Castle sit perched on a hill with views over the town.

Our stay at North lodge was amazing.. The lodge had everything we needed. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We did not want to leave and will definately be coming back.

Beautiful location and a very nice comfortable lodge.. Would certainly go again. The owners were so nice and just left you to enjoy your holiday, while being there if you needed anything.

We were greeted warmly as we arrived and shown the lodge.. It was bright and comfortable with spectacular views. The kitchen had everything you needed. My only comment would be that you could do with an outdoor light that comes on as you approach. Perhaps even one you can turn off once you’re home, so as not to disturb anyone. The area is really dark, which is great for stargazing but not so good for seeing where you’re going when reversing in, or trying to get to the front door. We loved the area and the lodge and will hopefully be returning.
