The living areas in this single-storey lodge consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine chiller, electric fire, and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite, and two twins, along with a shower room. Outside there is a wrap-around decked veranda with furniture, a private hot tub for guests to enjoy all year round, and a private driveway for one car. Two well-behaved small dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 1 mile, a pub on-site, and Lake Windermere in 0.6 miles. 25 Thirlmere is a wonderful base for a family looking to explore Cumbria. Note: The veranda is not enclosed. Note: There are steps up to the lodge; there are also 3 steps from the parking space to the front of the lodge which have no handrail. Note: Guests have access to a variety of on-site amenities, including a pub/restaurant, an indoor swimming pool, a launderette, and children's play area. Note: Due to lakeside location, children should be supervised. Note: Due to the site's rural location, WiFi signal can be intermittent. Note: At check-in guests will be provided with a barrier pass number to use in the barrier keypad providing vehicular access to the park. Note: Guests wishing to use the on-site leisure facilities will need to purchase a leisure pass from reception; Off peak: £7.95 per adult and £5.95 per child; Peak: £9.95 per adult and £6.95 per child (June, July, August); The pass is for full access to the complex centre, which includes pool, gym and entertainment. The little community of Troutbeck Bridge is located in the Lake District National Park, near to the renowned Kirkstone Pass, between the well-known towns of Windermere and Ambleside. This peaceful community, made up of a few Lakeland cottages, has a flourishing and well-liked neighbourhood tavern that serves good meals and real ales. The thriving towns of Windermere and Ambleside, which offer a variety of services like stores, pubs, and cafes, are nearby. Children will appreciate the Beatrix Potter World in neighbouring Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Lake Windermere offers a variety of lakeside activities, including visits to the famed Grizedale Forest Park and the world-famous Aquarium. Troutbeck Bridge is a great place to start exploring the area because it's close to places like Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick, and the Lakeland Mountains.e region has to offer.
