Surrounded by an abundance of walking and cycling routes, as well as being home to a charming pub and well-stocked supermarket, visitors to the area have everything they could possibly need for a splendid self-catering stay. The village of Coniston and the town of Bowness-on-Windermere lie within easy touring distance, whilst slightly further afield the town of Kendal is well-worth a visit.
