There is a king-size, along with a ground-floor shower room and a first-floor cloakroom. Outside there is an enclosed front garden with patio and furniture, and roadside parking is available. Within 0.7 miles you will find a shop and a pub, and please note that two well-behaved, small-sized dogs are allowed but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Old Peat Cottage is a wonderful dwelling for exploring the Lake District with loved ones. Note: The stairs to the first-floor are space saving and half open-tread, not suitable for those with lower mobility

Grizebeck is located on the edge of the Lake District National Park and offers breath-taking panoramic views of the Furness Fells, the Coniston Mountains, and the Duddon Estuary. Grizebeck, which is located in a lovely rural area, is ideal for anyone who wish to get away from it all for a while. The local garage has a little store that is perfect for essentials, and there is a tavern in the village that serves evening meals and local beers. You can reach Kirkby-in-Furness, a community with a general shop, two pubs, and a train station, in a short amount of time by car. The market town of Ulverston, which is located east of Kirkby-in-Furness, is widely known for its seasonal street markets and festivals. The town of Broughton-in-Furness, which contains three pubs, Beswicks Restaurant, a bakery, two cafés, a deli, a butcher, a post office, and tourist information, is also reachable within a short drive. If you want to partake in some Lakeland activities, Coniston is a short drive away and Windermere is also easily accessible by car. Grizebeck is in a prime location for exploring a number of Lake District sites, such as the Ravenglass Railway, the South Lakes Animal Park close to Dalton, and Dalton Castle, Muncaster Castle, and the South Lakes Animal Park.
