A superbly set up cottage, with a wood burning fire and hot tub. Very well furnished.
Set in a remote valley with stunning views and with walks all around, some of which Beatrix potter used to do.
Close to lake Coniston, and amenities.
You can do some wonderful walks right from the cottage, the views are amazing, you will need your camera and yes it loads.
The hot tub is easy to use and very welcome after a days walking, along with a G&T.
We had our shopping dropped of by Sainsbury’s as they deliver to here.
Some of the local pubs allow dogs in and they have a wide selection of food of which is very nice and reasonably priced.
This cottage does not have a DVD player but has free sat, only problem we found is that it is very spotty, we took an amazon fire stick so had plenty to watch on a night.
You can but fire wood for fire from farmer £5, we used to most nights as it gave a real homely feel.
The kitchen is well set up with everything you will need, and it has a dish washer.
Lake Coniston you can walk to if you are feeling adventurous but a bit far for the less mobile or elderly.
All in all a wonderful place to holiday, stunning views and remote, will definitely look to book again.
