Fieldmouse Cottage consists of a kitchen/dining area with an electric oven with halogen hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and a utility room with a washer, along with a sitting room with a Smart TV, soundbar, DVD and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of two king-size rooms and a children’s bunk room (for those aged twelve and under only), serviced by a bathroom with a shower over the bath and an additional shower room. Gas central heating is provided throughout. Outside, there is private parking for two cars, along with a sloping lawned garden, patio with furniture, and stunning views. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the price, and a starter pack of wood is provided for the stove. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Note: This property accepts a maximum of four adults and two children aged twelve and under. Fieldmouse Cottage offers a welcoming base for a peaceful countryside stay. Note: Maximum of 4 adults and 2 children age of 12 and under only permitted to stay at this  property.

Nestling at the head of Coniston Water, the pretty village of Coniston is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Lake District National Park, making it a superb base for touring, with Hawkshead, Ambleside, Windermere and Grasmere just a short drive away. Superb walking, mountain biking and climbing are available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. For watersports enthusiasts, the quiet lake is ideal for dinghy sailing and canoeing, whilst the less active can enjoy a leisure cruise on the beautiful steam yacht 'Gondola’, or visit Brantwood, the former home of John Ruskin. Nearby attractions include the award-winning village of Hawkshead, home of the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Tarn Hows, one of the most visited beauty spots in the country and Esthwaite Water, famous for its fishing. A first class holiday location at any time of the year.
