The Lakes Distillery is less than a mile away and offers tours and tastings sessions. It also has a lovely bistro to enjoy a spot of lunch. Walkers and cyclists are spoilt for choice with some fabulous walks from the door, including Sale Fell and Dubwath Silver Meadows Nature Reserve. For any mountain bike enthusiast, there are some brilliant tracks in Whinlatter Forest, only 8 miles away. Walk through the private patio and enter the property to find yourself in the stylish open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area.
