Beautiful Newlands Valley is located between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and scenic Bassenthwaite Lake is must-see. There is truly something for everyone, from a leisurely country stroll to a strenuous walk-up Skiddaw. Take a cruise around the lake or visit Mirehouse, a stately home and grounds with an outdoor theatre on the lake's beaches. Dodd Wood, Derwentwater, the Lake District Wildlife Park, and Keswick with its abundance of attractions are all easily accessible.
