Outside, there is an enclosed side garden with furniture and fire pit, shared lawn area, and off-road parking for one car. Pet-friendly. Sorry, no smoking. Guests can find a shop in 0.5 miles and a pub in 0.4 miles. Highchair and travel cot available. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Area
The rural village of Arlecdon lies in peaceful countryside, just a stone's throw from the western border of the Lake District National Park. Offering the basic amenities, the village has a highly-regarded pub serving food, as well as a small shop and Post Office. It also boasts a 19th century, Grade II listed church. There is something for everybody in the local area; head just five miles west and reach the well-stocked coastal town of Whitehaven which has a wide variety of high-quality amenities as well as a choice of fascinating museums and a picturesque marina. Slightly north is brings you to the old market town of Cockermouth which makes for a lovely day out. One of the Lake District's more popular towns, Keswick, is a little over 20 miles away, visit this market town for a wealth of charming shops and eateries.
