Had a very relaxing enjoyable time at Victoria cottage.. The hosts were lovely, and the nice touches of wine, scones, jam, cream & mince pies were lovely in addition a bottle of milk in the fridge which were not expected but a very welcome gesture.
The cottage is exactly that a cottage, 2 bedrooms, lounge/diner and kitchen with shower room off kitchen. If you are looking for lots of space this would not be for you but it was far from cramped and the addition of the dressing area off the main bedroom is a good space.
It is well equipped, although we did notice some glasses that had been pushed to the back of the cupboard which were broken or cracked, I would like to think the people who broke the items told the owners and paid for the damages but as the item were still in the cupboard it is highly unlikely which would upset me if I were the owner of the property. We have left a note for the owner advising them if the glasses that are broken. I just hope they can determine who would have done the damage.
We would definitely return should we want a trip like this again as it is a first for us as we have a touring caravan that we would normally use, but with it been winter decided bricks were preferable.
Thank you Frank & Hillary for allowing us to use your cottage we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
