Parula is a coastal bolt-hole for two in the remote hamlet setting of Kelynack, one mile from the bustling town of St Just, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walkers, beachcombers, bird watchers, artists, and city escapees will love it here! Access to the rugged West Penwith coastline, which is a string of beautiful bays and coves, is a 10 minute walk. Follow the coast path west along tall granite cliffs to Gwenver Beach, Sennen Cove and Lands End or head east towards Cape Cornwall and St Just where you will find good pubs, cafes and delicatessens as well as several art galleries. Follow the scenic coast road to St Ives for world-class beaches and restaurants. This newly refurbished bungalow sits beside the owners home. You will find a spacious bedroom and sparkling shower room with a shower that is large enough for two. The kitchen is well equipped and the sitting room has plump sofas, good books/games, a dining table and a door to the private patio. There is off-road parking for one car. Designed for couples and practical for trips to the Isles of Scilly, Parula sits adjacent to Lands End Aerodrome.

Area
St Just is the nearest town to Lands End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Celia and Colin were lovely hosts and made us feel welcome ! Everything and more was provided ! such a well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed the scones and clotted cream on arrival ! Fantastic break, have already recommended to family and friends.

We had a lovely stay in Parula .. Although it is in a quiet area beaches and places of interest are within a short drive . The cottage was very clean and had everything we could need and was tastefully furnished .

The cottage is in a quiet location, although being very close to Lands End Airport some aircraft noise can be heard during the day, which is much louder than described.. The cottage is further from St Just as listed in the description, we walked both by road and public footpaths and it was approximately two miles, which may be an issue for some guests. The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable and has everything you would need for your holiday. The owners are lovely and left us to enjoy our holiday but were on hand should we have needed them. We would stay there again!

This is a very comfortable cottage, in a lovely location, which is appropriate for our interests of walking and bird watching.. It is extremely clean and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and left much appreciated gifts of a cream tea for two and new laid eggs. We would certainly consider re-visiting in the future.
