Pebble Cottage sits within minutes of golden Portreath Beach and the north Atlantic coastline. It hosts two bedrooms: one double (with en-suite shower room), one twin, sleeping four people, with a separate family shower room. Let's not forget the sun room/dining area, a fitted kitchen, utility and separate sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside has an enclosed patio area with furniture. Off-road parking is available for one car. Pebble Cottage is an excellent base for exploring all Cornwall has to offer.

Area
Portreath is nestled in a stream valley between high cliffs. It has a secluded sandy, safe beach which is popular with families and surfers alike. The village has several shops including beach shops, a take away, several pubs and cafés, plus cliff tops for walking with panoramic seascapes.

Region
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Travel cot available. Stair gate at the bottom of the stairs and also from the twin room upstairs. Off-road parking for one car. Enclosed patio with garden furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome, supplement charges apply for second pet. Sorry no smoking. Pub 100 meters away; shop 200 meters; beach 200 meters.Note: Traditional Cornish Cottage and so the stairs is steep and narrow. Note: Bedrooms have two steps down from the door to the top of the stairs. Note: Sitting room has beams with head room of 183cm and the door to kitchen approx 175cm

The cottage was excellent, even dog treats pop bags and dishes even though we took our own.. Cream tea milk and tea coffee sugar, cleaning. Materials bed linen utensils etc if a great standard. Local pub the Bassett four doors away allowed us to have a take away meal but beware if you not large eaters one between two is great quality of good outstanding great week.

The cottage was ok but the worst we’ve had with Sykes (and we go at least three times a year with Sykes so have a lot to compare to).. Very small cottage so it was very hard to get in shower (there was some reference to this in the listing but it is very awkward), storage heaters weren’t giving out enough heat so it felt chilly, mattress on double bed very soft and gave us both back ache. Some small things missing from kitchen like salt and pepper, tin foil, hand soap. Double bedroom very dated. We had a nice holiday in Portreath though and I think the owners could easily rectify things. Thanks
