Area Portreath is a small village, complete with a wild and rugged coastline. Within the surrounding area you will find high cliffs, secluded coves and sandy and surf-washed beaches. Within the village itself you will find small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese restaurant. Close by is is the city of Turo where you will find cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants.

What a lovely place.. Everything was excellent. Everything was where is should have been on arrival and we spent four lovely nights there. Will definitely try to get back there. The location was perfect. The walk to the beach was easy enough and the woodland walk at the rear brought ours of fun for our teenage daughters. I actually cannot fault anything.
