Driftwood Cottage is a charming traditional miners cottage in the peaceful village of Ashton near Porthleven. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a ground floor family bathroom. On the ground floor is a kitchen and dining room, as well as a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove. Outside, the enclosed rear garden has outdoor furniture and a barbecue. There is off road parking in front of the cottage. Located just three miles from the much-loved harbour town of Porthleven, Driftwood Cottage is a beautiful holiday home, ideal for quiet family holidays throughout the year.

Porthleven is one of south west Cornwall’s hidden coastal gems, located near Helston famous for its annual Flora Dance Festival. Situated between Lizard Point and Land’s End, Porthleven retains the feel of a traditional Cornish fishing village, enjoying uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful Cornish coastline. The iconic clock tower sits on the harbour entrance and the pubs, shops, cafés and restaurants cluster around the historic picturesque inner harbour, where there is plenty of boating and marine activity.

Lovely cosy, spotlessly clean and well equipped cottage.. In a very quite spot within range of lots of places for walking and going by car. Only a minytes walk to the pub was a bonus. Also the bus stop was opposite the pub.

We loved this holiday the cottage was perfect could not fault anything had everything you needed in it bed was so comfortable .. The cottage was spotlessly clean can’t wait to go back next year and the pub down the road great food and lovely staff

What a beautiful cottage! It had everything we needed and more! Everything has been so well thought out, it really did make our holiday so much easier and less stressful. Very clean and presentable throughout, we had a lovely stay at Driftwood Cottage.

This cottage was the most well equipped holiday property we have ever stayed in.. There was a nice little welcome pack, tea,milk, biscuits.etc. If I had to say a negative,it would be we couldn't find the chairs for the garden set. but that is really the only thing. Ideal for exploring the south west, I would recommend a visit to Porthleven Harbour, Cape Cornwall and Kynance cove,and many more

Lovely cosy cottage in a quiet location.. Good location to explore the surrounding areas including harbours, beaches and coastal walks The cottage was well kitted out to prepare meals. Enjoyed the wood burner in the lounge albeit a little temperamental. Would be ideal to have a little more wood supplied especially as we arrived for Christmas week and a lot of local places closed on bank holidays but didn't spoil our stay Parking outside the cottage Pub within a few minutes walk from the cottage

Holiday cottage has very low ceilings in places.. Perhaps a mention of this might help if you are over 6 foot.
