St. Mabyn, a civil parish, and settlement in the centre of Cornwall, is conveniently located for exploring the region's landscape and shore. The region includes the charming village of Longstone as well. There are many picturesque wonders to be found in the area, which gets its name from a standing stone that was broken up for gateposts about the year 1850. The village has a basic range of services, including the St. Mabyn Inn, which serves decent food and beverages, as well as a Post Office and general store, which are ideal for any self-catered trip.
