Garden House is a luxury detached cottage, found within the quaint village of Gorran Haven. Inside you will find three bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double with en-suite, a double and a twin bedroom. There is also a family bathroom, complete with a bath, separate walk-in shower, basin and WC. Additional rooms include a spacious open-plan living room with a kitchen area, dining area and a sitting area. Outside, guests can make use of off-road parking and a rear closed garden with a graveled area and a patio area with furniture. Garden House is a delightful property, complete with luxury interiors.

Open plan living space with kitchen, dining and seating areas. Utility room and separate WC and basin downstairs.

Area
Situated on the south coast of Cornwall, is the charming village of Gorran Haven. This village is an ideal base for exploring the many beaches and coves, found within the area. From here, you will also be able to access the South West Coast Path, which passes through the village. Nearby attractions include visiting the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum.

Highchair and travel cot available. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels (not beach) included. Off road parking for 2 cars. Fully enclosed graveled garden. Raised deck with two sun loungers and outside table and chairs and sun parasol. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 minute walk away. Pub 20 minute walk away.

Fantastic house, lovely location.. The facilities were excellent. Perfect spot for a family holiday , near to a lovely beach within walking distance and a good location for exploring Cornwall. We would love to go back here for another holiday.

We stayed at the Garden House for a week in May 2019.. The town of Gorran Haven is lovely and the local shop is very handy. We had a pleasant stay at the house but it is definitely lacking in some of the basics. We ended up having to buy things like bin bags, washing up liquid and sponges as they weren’t stocked. The coffee machines are also pointless as there are no pods to fit in unless you buy your own. Not big things but not what is implied in the description of the house. We would probably bear this in mind if we were thinking of returning as the prices do not reflect a less than basic house. It was clean and did the job but would think again before booking for our stay next year.

House was lovely throughout but could benefit from a few things to help guests during stay; Info on local recycling - what can be recycled - there was a significant amount of recycling outside from previous guests.. .. provide a few basic cleaning products and extra bin bags (we bought washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets) we would expect a property of this standard to have this. Especially looking at the huge rate increases during the summer months! An oven glove would be handy too! Overall, great property and good location! Beds were wonderfully comfortable and everything was spotless.

The property was lovely.. Only points I would make are that the property seemed to be newly refurbished or new to the holiday rental scene as a few little things were missing (even the wi-fi password written down on the welcome book/guide was wrong, I had to get the password from the router). Firstly the living room area has excellent folding patio doors but they provide very little privacy as they don't have any curtains/blinds. At times it felt a little uncomfortable when it was dark outside and you had the lights on inside. Secondly the property had very little cleaning facilities/products such as cleaning spray, hand wash/soap, washing up liquid etc... We had a young baby and a dog with us so keeping things clean became difficult and we ended up going out to buy some cleaning products. Lastly we only got 3 rolls of toilet roll for 1 weeks stay and as the property can sleep up to 6 people it's unlikely to last 2 days. Again we went out and bought some more toilet roll within the first 2 days. Overall the property was excellent and would definitely recommend to anyone and we would be happy to stay here again also.
