Set within the award winning gardens at Pendra Loweth holiday village, Oyster Cottage is a short drive to Falmouth and its coast path and beaches. With a plunge pool (not available until after Easter 2021), tennis courts and children's play area, this resort offers a great value for a family of four or a group of friends at any time of the year. On the ground floor is an open plan living room and kitchen with dining space as well as a handy cloakroom. Head upstairs to a double and twin bedroom and a good sized family bathroom. French doors lead from the open plan living room to a private patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. There is an allocated parking space opposite. Oyster Cottage is perfect for a family looking for a traditional holiday in this seaside resort and wonderful at any time of year. Note: Sorry, no sign written vans or commercial vehicles are permitted at Pendra Loweth, Village of Gardens resort. Note: Bookings for any other reason than holiday/leisure are not permitted on this site. This property cannot be used as private accommodation for work or business trips

Area
Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and SSSI teeming with a variety of wildlife. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.

Note: There is no daily cleaner as all of our properties are self catering. Note: No stag/hen or similar. Note: The shared splash/plunge pool is approximately 3 metres on either side with a 1.4 metre depth.It has a maximum capacity of 4 people at any one time. Note: Car charging points are available outside of the office next to the disabled car parking bay.

It was a lovely place, peaceful gardens, our accommodation was very nice.. The only fly in the ointment was the bed, it would have been better if it was a king size and a more comfortable mattress, my husband slept well but I found it difficult to sleep.

We enjoyed Cornwall, of course, and our best trips were to St Ives and Porth Leven.. The weather was glorious and our best meal was at the Shipwright Inn at Helford. The house had everything we needed, was clean and attractively decorated with lots of pictures on the walls. We liked the private area with table and chairs outside the patio doors. All in all an excellent holiday in a very pleasant comfortable cottage.

Could not use the grill without being smoked out.. The single beds could not be slept in due to bad mattress. This was both beds. Not acceptable if more then two people. My husband needed to sleep in one but was way to uncomfortable to do so. ***** Owner Response***** Thanks very much for your feedback.. We have purchased new mattresses for the two single beds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in osyter cottage.. It was well equipt with everything you could possibley need, a home from home with lovely peaceful surroundings. The only down side was poor lighting outside.
