Oak Cottage is a modern well-appointed house part of the holiday Village of Gardens resort at Pendra Loweth. Onsite facilities include an indoor plunge pool (not available until Easter 2021), tennis courts and childrens outdoor play area. The house sleep six people in two double bedrooms and one bunk bedroom. The open plan living area with dining, kitchen and sitting area and sunny conservatory. Outside there is a sunny terrace and beyond is the shared lawn and gardens with stream. There is off road allocated parking for one car. Located one mile from the closest beach at Swanpool, and a short drive of Falmouth resort attractions, Oak Cottage makes an ideal choice for a family holiday. Note: Sorry, no sign written vans or commercial vehicles are permitted at Pendra Loweth, Village of Gardens resort. Note: Bookings for any other reason than holiday/leisure are not permitted on this site. This property cannot be used as private accommodation for work or business trips

Over two floors. Three bedrooms: 1 ground floor x 2'6 twin, 1 x king-size, 1 x adult bunks. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor cloakroom, WC and basin. Open plan living area with dining, kitchen and sitting area. Conservatory with seating. Shared use of indoor plunge pool.

Area
Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).

Overall a fantastic holiday home for a fantastic budget.. With three children the house doesn’t need to be prestige, a family feel and a clean and safe environment is all you can ask for. Sykes and the site we stayed at could not of been anymore accommodating for us. We will be returning to Sykes and in fact have already booked for another holiday this year and I’m about to look for next year. Sykes is the way forward for our family and it’s a pleasure to have found them.

The house was perfect ,but the facilitys were very poor ,with 200 houses on site there was no shop to get milk or bread ,,plenty of sighs saying dogs on leads .. And pick up fouling , but THERE WERE NO POO BINS ON SITE ,NOT ONE , other people said the same ,the pool was terrible ,6 people thats all it would hold ,house perfect ,site bad ,j evans

The cottage needs a deep clean and some maintenance.. The upstairs toilet seat needs fixing, as does the cold tap in the bathroom which drips. The kitchen isn’t very well equipped; no plastic bowls/cutlery for kids, couldn’t find a jug or any oven gloves. No dishcloth provided and only one spare bin bag - like self catering of old! The freezer in the fridge needs defrosting; water constantly drips down into the fridge so all the food gets wet which is really irritating. The Vac was completely blocked and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned out for months, so we had to sort this out before being able to use it. The holiday park is great and the grounds are lovely; Oak Cottage just needs some care and attention.

In this day and age, it is a shame that the cottage does not have Wi-Fi.. It would be much easier to keep teenagers occupied... and also useful for adults!

Although it didn't bother us we would like to bring to your attention that the conservatory roof was peeking but we had a very peaceful stay it is in a lovely quiet setting..
