Swallowfield is a delightful village settled into Berkshire. With a local pub, The Crown, and convenience store, you can stock up on essentials for your holiday, and enjoy a glass of your favorite beverage in the sunshine. The village is close to the bustling city of Reading, where there are ample amenities and attractions for guests to enjoy. Here you can find a wealth of pubs, cafes, and restaurants, as well as quaint independent shops to be browsed at your leisure. Reading is home to a selection of intriguing museums, the impressive ruins of Reading Abbey, and there is also a golf course where you can try out a game or two. If you love walking, mountain biking, or birdwatching, lace up your walking boots and head out into the beautiful scenery of either the North Wessex Downs National Landscape, or the Chiltern Hills AONB. Here there are places to visit including Beale Wildlife Park, The Living Rainforest, The Nature Discovery Centre, and Warburg Nature Reserve Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. From the town there are also direct trains into the city of London, where there are many amazing attractions waiting to be explored.
