Jump in the car for a mooch about neighbouring Horsens, with its colourful harbour (nineteen-minute drive) and views of its mighty fiord. Or, for something a little buzzier, the happening restaurants, art museums, and old town of Denmark's second-biggest city, Aarhus (one hour drive), is an afternoon well spent.
