Ideal for a group of friends or family visiting the Danish capital, Waterside Story is a modern home in Sydhavnen with gorgeous views of the new developments in the area. It could do with a splash of colour, but we also appreciate its modern and minimalist aesthetic. You’ll have to hop on a train to reach central Copenhagen, but if you’re a real sea lover, you’ll feel right at home by the canals.

Home truths:
* Tall people be aware – the shower is only 185 cm tall
* There’s only one bathroom for six guests
* The host won’t be there to meet you, you’ll have to pick up the keys from their office – it’s about thirty minutes away by public transport
* The immediate area isn’t the liveliest neighbourhood in Copenhagen – but you’re close to Copenhagen’s harbour
* There’s currently no home manual – you’ll have to ask for help on how to use the appliances
* We also noticed some scuff marks on the walls
* Guests 5 and 6 would be on a bed in the living room – only separated from the rest of the room by a shelf unit
