Union Jack in Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark

Description
With wooden floors, high ceilings and luminous windows, Union Jack is a typical Frederiksberg apartment. Located by Forum Station, you’re close to Sankt Jørgens Sø and some of the cosy cafés by the lakes. This three-bedroom home isn’t luxurious, but it comes with plenty of charm – we especially love the vintage pieces, nods to the host’s home country and the vibrant colour scheme.

Home truths:
* The bathroom is a bit tired-looking and could do with an update – the sink and bathtub in particular
* Guest 6 and 7 would be on a sofa bed in the living room
* Bedroom three is set up for children with a single bed and child-friendly design
* When we visited, we noticed some peeling paint on some of the exposed pipes in the bathroom
* There's only one bathroom for seven guests
* It is a ground floor home – don't expect expansive views of Copenhagen's skyline
