Under the Sea is a happy family home. Many of the building’s original 1811 features are intact – we especially love the 200 years old wooden floor that oozes character. With plenty of colourful inputs (pillows, artwork, furniture) that pairs well with the homely atmosphere, it feels like a little family oasis close to Kongens Have. Due to the sleeping arrangements, we recommend that two out of the six guests are children (there’s a cot in bedroom one and junior size bed in bedroom two).

*This home is on the third floor with no lift – you have to climb fifty-nine steps to reach the front door
*As per Danish custom, the host requests that shoes are not to be worn when inside the apartment
*This home sleeps six people – two of those would be children as there's a cot and junior bed available
*There’s not a lot of space to unpack your suitcase
*It’s close to CultureBox (a night club) – you can occasionally sense the beat in the master bedroom
*If you’re staying for a longer period of time, the host asks that you help to water the plants on the balcony
*Guests 3 and 4 would be on a sofa bed in the second bedroom
