We stayed in the house with our children for almost two weeks. We felt very comfortable there. The owners speak German, and if anything needed help, we were able to speak to them directly. The pool was great, and the entire house had air conditioning. If you want to go to Venice, it's about a three-hour drive away. But it's worth it. We'd love to come back.

We felt like we were being watched and our privacy was being restricted: the landlords (VM) came by at 6 a.m. to put the loungers back in their proper place. We also received many other unsolicited visits from the VM. During check-out, the VM walked through the house with a lamp (!) and found scratches. We cannot say whether these were caused by us using the house normally or whether they were already there beforehand, as the check-in was more of an inspection!

The house itself is very nice and generously equipped. Unfortunately we felt like we were being watched by the owner and his wife because they live right across the street. During your stay and when you handed over the keys, you drew our attention to things that everyone who lives there will certainly handle them differently. For example, we complained that we partially opened the fly screens in the bedroom and didn't let them down. We won't come back a second time!
