Sitting within the majestic Hohe Tauern National Park, this apartment is blessed with some wonderful views from the balcony of the surrounding mountains, as well as a superb array of outdoor excursions that are easily reached nearby.

However, we don't give homes a pass purely because of a great location and thankfully, the interior delivers on every other front, too. The design is fairly pared-back — save for the rather extravagant lighting feature above the dining table — but it's been well-executed, particularly the monochrome kitchen and the smart grey bathroom.

Another welcome addition is the infrared sauna, which is sure to help you relax after a productive day out in the Austrian countryside. In the summer months, there are hiking routes to explore and a tennis court just around the corner, while during the snowy season, there's a lift up to the famous Kitzbühel - Kirchberg ski area only two minutes' drive away.
