Area
Ffestiniog, a village in the Welsh county of Gwynedd, is a lovely home base for visitors to Snowdonia National Park. Llaan Ffestiniog and Blaenau Ffestiniog, the two towns that make up the community, have a wealth of services and entertainment options. The location is well-known for its railway, which takes visitors on a 40-mile journey across the stunning landscape of northern Wales. Blaenau Ffestiniog, a former mining town with a lively downtown, is where much of the community's shopping can be found. The town is also home to a wide variety of restaurants and bars, making it an ideal destination for a celebratory meal and toast. The Zip World Slate Caverns and the Bounce! Slate mine history and breath-taking vistas may be found below, and from there you can soar on a zip line, visit a hidden underground realm, or spring into action in the caves. You can go on an unforgettable adventure by hiking to the top of Mount Snowdon, or you can visit Portmeirion, an Italianate village with stunning buildings, unique gardens, and a beach. Visit Porthmadog and its scenic harbour to learn about the town's storied nautical past, or travel to Holy Island to learn even more about the area's historic significance and to take a ferry to Ireland. Ffestiniog is a great place to call home during any visit to Wales, as it is conveniently located near several attractions.

Amazing 2 nights away, the property is clean and well equipped with everything you need for self catering. Angela has refurbished the property with perfect décor keeping the feeling of a cottage but bringing in a modern kitchen. We were greeted by the smell of some freshly cut daffodils in the kitchen along with a basket of treats Inc an Easter egg n a bottle of red wine. Hot tub was amazing after climbing Cad Idris. Perfect location.

Wow! Absolutely beautiful! The cottage had everything we needed. Angela left us a lovely welcome pack containing Welsh cakes wine and treats! A lovely touch. There was also wood provided so we could sit in front of the open fire after our drive to the property. The cottage is decorated beautifully and immaculate. The hot tub was just what we needed after climbing snowdon. Angela also provided a huge chunk of information about the area and good places to visit/see. We would definitely recommend and come back! Thank you Angela x
