Lovely cottage in a fantastic area, had ample space for 4 adults and a 2 year old.. Found on arrival that the cottage did not appear to have been checked/cleaned in the morning as stated by the person taking care of the property as post still all over floor, fridge switched off with food still in, no heating on which made property really cold and uninviting with very complex operating system which we arent familiar with, edges of rooms particularly en suite were quite dirty! A simple instruction/operations manual would have been handy with bin info, heating/water info etc. Also did not find ironing board until last day as had been placed behind dining room curtain!!! Would definitely consider staying here again, but feel there could be a couple of areas improved!

An information pack with instructions for the appliances, locations of cleaning equipment, etc would be useful.. Pint glasses would also be appreciated.

We were really pleased with this property.. Everything was lovely and clean and good size kitchen. We were there during a very cold spell and the heating is excellent. We are a family of 5 and there were lots of towels supplied and beds very comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property, and will re-book next year if it's available

As a self catering cottage, it lacked a few basics.. Usually expect to find some tea, coffee, salt and pepper etc. There was also not much toilet roll or hand soap. For a longer stay this is not so much a problem, but when only staying a few nights it is a pain to have to go and stock these things. Apart from that the house was great, very warm clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this house over the new year and we had an absolutely swell time.. The kids didn’t want to leave when we had to leave. It was really clean and well thought out, making our stay comfortable. I was there with my wife and two kids so there was ample space for us. The location was perfect as it was really close to the city centre and the nearby shop made it really convenient to just dash for anything we needed. The owner was just at the other end of the phone if we needed anything and was friendly. I think we have found our secret hideout in Aviemore and will definitely recommend this place to anyone with a family.
