To the outside you will find roadside parking and a front seating area with furniture. 60 Hyfrydle Road is a lovely cottage in a wonderful part of North Wales.

Talysarn is a village in the Nantlle Valley in North Wales. Situated between Caernarfon Bay and the Snowdonia National Park, this is a location to enjoy climbing, walking, mountain biking, canoeing, sailing, fishing and golf. Discover Caernarfon, with its 13th century castle, the Glynllifon Country Park, the Lleyn Peninsula, Anglesey, and the mountain scenery of Snowdonia.

Don’t be fooled by it being an end of terrace rather than detached in its own grounds as the view is lovely and it’s in a good location for travelling around.. The house is spacious, warm and very well equipped. The information provided in the folders is first class and it’s obvious that a lot of thought has gone into providing all that’s needed for visitors.

This cottage is fantastic, easily the best equipped we have ever stayed in.. Quality items throughout and the photos don’t do it justice. The outside photos are the actual views. Very well positioned for lots of activities. No issues parking on the road which is very quiet.

The view from the cottage was more spectacular than it appeared in the picture.. It was situated well for access to Snowdonia as well as the coast, Llyn peninsula or Anglesey to the north. Although we were rather unfortunate with the weather (remains of a hurricane that week!) we were grateful that the cottage was old and sturdy with thick walls. It was quite lavishly furnished and decorated, everything looked brand new, and there were many thoughtful extras such as a wealth of local information, maps etc, books DVDs and games. We did have trouble working out the controls on some of the equipment, but the owner was most approachable and helpful, even offering to come round if necessary.

The cottage is in the perfect location for exploring North Wales.. The village is set within the beautiful Nantlle Valley, well worth a drive through. As for the cottage itself, well that was lovely. Very clean with everything you could want, a true 'home from home' feel with lots to keep you occupied on the 'rainy' days...board games, books, DVDs, FreeSat TV and WiFi. Even though it's on the road parking, we managed to park right outside the cottage 6 days out of the 7. No actual amenities within Talysarn these days, but there are some near in Penygroes. As a family of 4 we would definitely recommend 60 Hyfrydle Road and hope to return again one day.

The cottage was beautiful.. Every little detail thought of and this made for a very enjoyable stay. This area of Wales is so pretty and we will definitely be back in the future.

The cottage was very comfortable and extremely well equipped.. The views from the front were amazing. It is a great base to tour the sites of North Wales. Just a little disappointed to find the local pub had closed down.
