We were disappointed that the owner hadn't left a welcome pack.. It would have been lovely to sit down with a cuppa before unpacking. All of our stays with Sykes, the owners have been very generous .We didn't see the owner during our stay so that we could have spoken to her.

Needs wardrobes in second bedroom nowhere to put clothes.. Could do with more serving dishes and a fruit bowl. Also a lot of lights not working Good position quite and handy for everything. Also could do with toilet cleaner and a hand towel for kitchen

Great holiday accommodation in a great location, handy for the town centre and beach.. Ideal for my wife who is disabled and requires everything on one floor, also lots of grab rails in the wet room a big help.

Enjoyed the holiday, but we had to return home a day earlier due to possible head cold developing.. Accidentally left behind my much-valued "Lakeland" stovetop coffee percolator. I would be extremely grateful for this to be returned, and am more than happy to refund the postage! I live and dream "CAWFFEE" and my rather pricey stovetop percolator is "my life"! The accommodation was great as we had taken a disabled relative with us so it was ideal for her to get around. It was very clean, nicely furnished and even better than we expected from the description. Parking directly outside the accommodation was great.

The cottage was just as advertised; very clean, near to the sea and fun fair, but in very quiet location.

There was plenty of room in the bathroom/wet room and the shower itself was very good. The towels were lovely and big. The owners were very keen that we were happy with everything, there was even a chest freezer we could use, along with books, games and beach toys that we could borrow.

We hired this bungalow as we had a wheelchair user with us. The wet room was excellent and a very good size. There was a commercial washing machine available at a cost of four pounds and also a dryer at one pound. There were lots of games, books, DVD's, beach toys - all free to use whilst we were there, which was lovely. It was two minutes from the beach and access for the wheelchair user was excellent with a large promenade stretching for miles with the town close by. There was also a large supermarket two minutes away along with lots of pubs and restaurants. We would recommend this bungalow for a wheelchair user

My husband and I have just spent a week in 5a and when we entered the apartment, right away we felt at home and were happy how clean and fresh it was. There was a wet room, which was ideal as my husband is wheelchair bound. Everything was as advertised, as was the position near the sea etc. It was a short walk into Hunstanton, and Tesco being near by was beneficial and the pub which did 2 for 1 of meals was good value. Someone mentioned the lack of wardrobe space was being addressed as we left as a wardrobe was just being delivered. The only problem was no network coverage for mobile, but the pub did have free wi-fi. Towels were provided, but were not changed during the week, so take towels if that bothers you.

It was very handy for beach and town and the courtyard area was a lovely sun trap. A laundry room was also available which wasn't in the advert but was a great bonus although we didn't need to use it as the weather was brilliant.

Exceptional accommodation close to the beach and attractions and within easy walking reach of the main town. Very close to a Fish and chip shop, a pub with very good food or Tesco supermarket if you want to self cater. We were two couples and we had a really good week here in 5a.

Very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Also, a laundry room was available and a shared freezer which were not mentioned in the property particulars, but were most welcome. It was easy for my mother to move about the property either using her zimmer frame or with the wheelchair.

The best self-catering place I have ever been to. The beds were very comfy and all the linen was excellent. All in all we were very happy there and of course the weather was very good. Gold star for the owners; I hope we shall be able to use it again next year!

July 2013
The property was perfectly suited for my disabled mum. The wet room was particularly outstanding and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The owners were very friendly and helpful and had clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making the property wheelchair-friendly. We loved our accommodation and are going to try to book it again next year! Thank you also to the ladies I dealt with at Skyes Cottages who were so friendly, efficient and helpful and made the booking process a real pleasure. All round this has been the best holiday I have booked. Thank you!

We were met on site by owners to be given a keys and a guide to the building, the photos dont really do it justice as its a very spacious oak framed new build with quality fixtures and fittings. It is ideally located for all amenities and and the facilities and access for the less mobile have been well thought out with a large level access shower area with doc M toilet and grab rails. Other families were equally happy with the accommodation and children could play happily and safely in the courtyard - If you're not one to use the facilities of close by caravan sites these offer much better value than either of the neighbouring sites .

The location of the Hideaways cottage was ideal. Walking distance to the beach and amenities. We love the area and loved that fact that we spend a day in the town as there was plenty to do or we could drive to other coastal towns and villages, all within easy reach.

May 2013
We received a very warm welcome and were shown around the property, which was ideal for my disabled mother. The location was perfect only two minutes walk from the sea front and 10-15 minutes stroll into the main town along the promenade. Would definitely recommend this property.

I travelled with my disabled mother and the accomodation was very suited to her needs. We received a very warm welcome from the owner who made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was very clean, with lovely furnishings and a well appointed kitchen. There is a wet room which is ideal for anyone with limited mobility. The location was perfect, quiet, but only two minutes from the sea and fun fair, two minutes from Tesco and only a 10 minutes stroll along the promenade into town. We had a lovely time and would definately stay here again and highly recommend it. There are also three other apartments making it ideal for a large group of friends or families to travel together whilst having their own space and privacy.

It was our first visit to Norfolk and what a great place to have base ourselves from. The cottage was a new build and suited all our family needs. The property was spotless and all essentials were provided and being set back from the main road made the accommodation quiet. The owners were really accommodating and helpful and offered the use of cycles and beach toys for the children. We really enjoyed our stay and if we were to return to Norfolk we would definitely look to book again.

Brand new and beautifully appointed cottage. Much more spacious than it appears on the internet. Perfect location and very good value for money. I cannot find a single fault. This is the best accommodation we have rented in the UK and that is saying something.

The standard of the property was incredible and the attention to detail by the owners was fantastic. The most complete holiday property I have ever stayed in. The location was close to everything we wanted, enabling lovely early morning walks on the beach too.

Firstly we were very lucky as the weather was beautiful from start to finish! The property was very nice, comfortable and quiet. We were also very lucky to have great neighbours especially the couple opposite. We visited different towns/villages/beaches each day which was really nice.

Cannot recommend the cottage highly enough and will definately be back to stay. From arrival to leaving we did not require anything as everything had been thought of prior to our arrival. The setting of the cottages is clean and in an ideal location for both the beach and the town, a few minutes walk to both. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed including plates etc making cooking simple and easy. The layout of the cottage has been well thought out and natural beams gave a real authentic feel to the cottage. The owners were there to meet us and provided us with all the details from local areas of interest to essential contact details for emergency. They also provided their own details if required. The cottages are also good for any mix of people, from couples to families, this was shown when we were there as there was a young family satying as well.
