5 Distillery Cottage is a lovely mid terrace stone cottage situated in the village of Inverboyndie near to Banff in Aberdeenshire. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, one king size double and one ground floor twin room. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. There is a kitchen with dining area, utility, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside there are gardens to both the front and rear with a patio and furniture. There is off road parking for three cars, shed storage and two well behaved dogs are welcome. Ideal for a couple, family group or group of friends 5 Distillery Cottages is just minutes from a lovely sandy beach and the clear crystal waters of the Moray Firth.

Banff has been designated an Outstanding Conservation Area and is famous for its architecture. Banff contains a variety of architecture in a number of contrasting styles, including Georgian architecture that can be found in the upper part of the town. Banff Harbour is now a recreational harbour and marina, and the town boasts spectacular sea views, beaches, shops and restaurants.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location! 5 Distillery Cottages is a comfy, cosy cottage with everything you could possibly need. Great for beach walks and so much to see and do in the area. Recommend the Seafield Arms in Whitehills for pub grub, and the Hooga Cafe in Cullen is fabulous, so welcoming and the Cullen Skink and homemade bread and cakes were amazing. Thank you Sean and Victoria, your cottage is lovely and the Welcome Pack was much appreciated (and for the dog too!).

The expectation on the cottage has been completely satisfied.. For us who have dogs following the use of this cottage located in a beautiful area of the Scottish coast was the most exciting from the emotional point of view. The cottage is really exciting to experience it both internally and externally. I stop here with my comment because I do not know what else to add .... I, my wife and our dogs we hope one day to return to the Distillery for a new holiday by the sea in the north ....sorry for google translate....

This is an excellent cottage, very comfortable, warm with everything we needed and more.. Many thanks to the owners for the welcome pack and all the extras. Much appreciated. We had a great week and were sorry to leave. Two minutes to the beach with walks to Banff, Whitehills and beyond. Meals are availble at the pub, Galley restaurant and Rockfish chippy - all in Whitehills. We will return but not soon enough.

This is an exceptional cottage.. The welcome offered by the owners should be used as an example to others. In addition a great deal of thought has been put into the practicalities of the contents. For dog owners, the location is ideal as is the actual cottage itself.

The owners went to some length to welcome us - a very generous welcome pack, fresh flowers throughout the house, shower ‘poofs’, very comfy bed with good quality cotton bedding.. Tha heating was very effective and easy to use and plenty of hot water. The situation of the cottage was excellent - just a couple of minutes from a lovely beach along which was easy walking to Banff and Whitehills where The Galley provided superb meals.

One of the best ever.. The most caring owners of the property even down to thinking of our pet! The most thoughtful people ever. Very clean cottage with everything you could possibly want. We even had a telephone call checking to see we were settled and had everything we wanted. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the cottage

Couldn't have asked for a better location to relax with family.. The surrounding beaches are very clean, and the kids enjoyed body boarding at Sandend Beach as well as fishing for crabs at the harbour. We especially enjoyed our day out to Spey Bay to see the dolphins. The cottage itself is in the perfect location, and is beautifully well looked after, the welcome pack on our arrival was a very nice touch. Will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

The location by the beach was great. We loved walking along the almost empty beach in the mornings with our dog Shona. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and when the fire was lit it was very cosy. We appreciated the welcome packs for ourselves and the dog. We would love to stay there again.

The cottage was was clean, tidy, comfortable and nicely decorated, with a neat secure back garden.. The kitchen had tea, coffee, milk and bread to get us started, along with some nice extras for us and treats for our dog, which was a very nice touch, and more than met our expectations. This combined with the location, a 5 minute walk to a stunning beach and coastal walks, made for a great holiday. All in all I thoroughly recommend the cottage and will visit again.

We found the cottage to be very clean and comfortable.. We appreciated the welcome pack for ourselves and our dog. The location was excellent and we all enjoyed our walks along the beautiful beach. Great restaurants and shops in Banff and Whitehills. The only point l would make is l think it should be made clearer in the description that the only bathroom is upstairs and that the stairs are quite difficult to negotiate, especially for an elderly person or young child.

This cottage is well located in the Central area for the beautiful Moray coastline, Salmon fishing and whisky trail .. Banff is a short walk along a nice coastal path suitable for Kids and dogs alike. There is direct public access to the beach on an adjacent path with scenic walks in East and West. The cottage is spacious and very comfortable with all necessary items available to make a great holiday possible The dog safe rear garden is large ,with nice garden furniture to relax and enjoy the healthy sea air. The owners were very helpful and their welcome pack was exceptional . Great location fantastic property and great owners 110% +++

An absolute gem of a cottage.. In 30 years of staying in self catering cottages this has to be one of the most comfortable, well equipped and lovely cottages my wife and I have had the pleasure to stay in. Certainly the best of any of the ‘dog friendly’ cottages with dog treats, dog food bowls, new dog toys and dog towels supplied. We were aptly looked after by the kind owners with wine, chocolates, bread, milk, biscuits etc. A minor issue with an appliance was quickly rectified by the friendly owners. The cottages situation is only a couple of minutes walk from the fantastic beach which was immaculate with no litter or detritus. Brilliant walks for the dogs. Loads to see and do nearby. Would absolutely recommend this cottage; just fantastic!

Fantastic holiday let.. Pet friendly,owners left treats and games for our dog and also a generous welcome pack for us. The house is brilliant location very quiet and just around the corner from the beach and lovely easy walks.

We both thought that the cottage was fantastic.. It was tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable and situated in a very peaceful location just about five minutes walk from the shoreline. There are fantastic coastal walks which I undertook every day. The welcome pack which was provided by the owners and included wine and chocolates was very thoughtful. The WiFi was also very good and I know this is important for a lot of people. I would definitely go back.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful part of scotland.. Only 2 mins walk to the beach and situated perfectly for exploring the Moray coast. The cottage itself had everything we needed and more and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. This cottage was beautiful.. It had been carefully renovated and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The beds were super comfy.Everything felt new and fresh despite the cottage being old. The location was great. Only five minutes walk from an extensive beach which was a joy to walk each morning with the dog. The owners were very welcoming and had left a lovely welcome pack and goodies for the dog too. The Moray coast is a fantastic area to explore.I recommend this cottage highly.

Great little beach cottage.. We were a party of 2 adults and two pre-teens and the property was perfect. The rooms are large enough and it had all the equipment we required for the week and was only a few minutes walk to the beach. Only negative comment is the shower in the bath is quite small so it was bathes for the children. It may not be suitable if the children are very young as the twin bedroom is downstairs with the other bedroom is upstairs but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage for slightly older children if a beach holiday is what you want, although, there are lots of other local attractions to keep everyone happy. Great welcome pack which was much appreciated. And we were surprised by the frequency of the buses for such a small village.
