Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with woodburning stove.

Area
The small village of Crovie is not only pretty but is also quite unique as here the use of motor cars is discouraged and access to the single line of cottages is via a path that borders the sea. Vehicles are left at a nearby car park. At one time a busy fishing village it is now a peaceful retreat for visitors who love the charm and gentle ambience of the community. Crovie faces west onto the Moray Firth and in the summer fabulous sunsets can be enjoyed whilst in the winter months the Northern Lights can sometimes be seen. Although a real retreat Crovie is close to the many atmospheric fishing villages all along the north east coastline each with their own history and well worth a visit.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

I have been to this cottage three times now.. I just love it! A fabulous cottage, well appointed with everything you might need, wifi etc and even Netflix! But the scenery is awesome, and its wonderful to be so close to the sea in any weather. However some glorious hot weather on my last stay there (early May), fabulous sunsets every night. Well worth a stay.

Crovie is a wonderful place to visit, even in the middle of winter, and No.. 49 is an excellent base. It's well-equipped and comfortable. Needless to say, it's quiet, apart from the waves which are a pleasure in themselves. You can enjoy the wildness and beauty of the North Sea coast with only a handful of steps from the front door before popping back inside to re-warm by the fire. I loved it.

The cottage had everything that you could ever need and was cozy and welcoming.. The village itself is just the best place for 'stepping off the world' and being right next to the sea is amazing.

The cottage was very much as described.. We were very impressed with the quality of the work that had been involved to get it to its current standard and that attention to detail was continued in the fixtures and fittings. We had no issues at all during our stay and the welcome gifts were really appreciated and got our honeymoon off to a great start! Many thanks and we look forward to a return visit in the future. We've just spent a week here for our honeymoon and it was just perfect. It's lovely and peaceful. Crovie is stunning, just a row of cottages with hill to one side and the sea to the other. The cottage is wonderfully appointed and a great place to chill out.

Well, what an absolutely delightful cottage in a beautiful setting right on the sea front of this amazing rugged seashore. If you want to get away to a secluded cove to re-charge your batteries, then this is where you should go. The owner is always on the end of the phone should you need anything. The cottage is probably the nicest I have ever stopped in, with a lovely big cottage kitchen. The icing on the cake is the log burner in the lounge with fantastic views across the bay. If you what to experience the wild Scottish landscape from the comfort of one of the best cottages in a secluded location then this is perfect

A gorgeous cottage with all modern conveniences in one of the most picturesque villages in Scotland. Gardenstown is a short walk away around the cliffs. The perfect holiday getaway.

This was a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. A real home from home, the owner made sure we wanted for nothing. The beds were very comfortable and it was a pleasure to come back to the cottage after a busy day out. We would definitely come back to this property. Don't be put off by having to park in one of the car parks on the way into the village, it isn't as tricky as it looks and if you have children they will love the adventure. Five stars from me and my family ??????????

We love Crovie and it was wonderful to be back and staying in such a beautiful cottage! Having a wood burner was a real plus especially on the colder evenings. It wasn't cold enough or necessary to use the radiators and having a fire took the chill off and made No 49 really cosy.
